MagiGlue™ Craft and Home Use

What is MagiGlue™?

MagiGlue™ is a new bioadhesive that works just like traditional glues, but is better for the environment, for people, and for animals! It is also reversible- the bond comes undone in water. Use it in place of petroleum-based and animal-based glues in any craft or household project.

Why would you want to reverse glue?

Here's a few examples to start you off: glue temporary decorations when you don't want to make holes in the walls, stick dashboard figures on your car without worrying about leaving a gooey mess later, make holiday costumes or party outfits by gluing glitter, etc... to your clothes and then soak in water to reuse for regular wear. We've found dozens of creative applications and we're sure you'll think of many more!

MagiGlue™ is completely non-toxic. It is environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and has no animal by-products. It's also non-acidic and will not irritate skin nor damage photos.

Instructions:

Use: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. For regular adhesive applications as well as temporary applications. Not recommended for use in areas of high humidity or exposure to precipitation. Adheres to most surfaces including: wood, photos, paper, glass, metal, and most plastics.

Directions for liquid version: Twist cap to open. Hold bottle with cap downwards and squeeze gently to dispense glue. Apply a few drops of glue on surface to be glued. Press the surfaces together and hold in place for 30 seconds. May need to hold longer if gluing to a vertical surface. Allow bond to dry.

Directions for powder version: Add water to achieve desired consistency. For a thicker adhesive, add less water. For a thinner adhesive or a coating, add more water. Apply a few drops of glue on surface to be glued. Press the surfaces together and hold in place for 30 seconds. May need to hold longer if gluing to a vertical surface. Allow bond to dry.

For reversal or clean-up: Apply water directly to bond. We suggest using a spray bottle (use wet cotton swab on photographs). Allow 30 seconds to 2 minutes for bond to be dissolved. Separate glued objects. For full clean-up, use warm tap water. WATER MAY DAMAGE PAPER.

Storage: Make sure the cap is twisted closed. MagiGlue™ can be stored at room temperature. Over time the contents of MagiGlue™ may settle. Before using again shake bottle to remix formula.
